Great meal at Baci last night with a group of 8. Service was really friendly, and quick. It felt like everyone who worked there enjoyed their job. We shared the Burrata appetizer (x3), and the special insalata di barbabietole (x3). Both were delicious and a nice start to the meal. I had the bucatini all'amatriciana, which was the perfect sized portion, with great flavor and nice spice. My husband had a breaded eggplant dish with a side of pasta that he ravenously devoured. We all agreed that everything ordered was delicious and we can't wait to return.

randomly picked this place for my husbands birthday. we are relatively local in santa rosa. I was very impressed with the food, service and all around ambiance. We were pretty full after an appetizer of beef carpaccio, arugula salad and then chicken piccata and short ribs. all which were delicious. We decided to pass on dessert and they were kind enough to wrap up a birthday dessert to go. the owners were genuine and friendly. My only suggestion would be to possibly add more alcohol removed beverages and or cocktails for us sober people who still wanna feel like we're celebrating. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. we will be back.

From the moment of walking in the door, we were greeted respectfully and cheerfully. Due to my gluten intolerance, they also took the time to explain how food is handled in the kitchen and what items were available to me for dinner. The cafe was very Italian like. Once we sat down, a sever approached us, again, very helpful and nice. We ordered prosciutto with melon, a salad, then for our main gluten free penne with clams. The prosciutto and melon was fantastic, as well as the salad. I felt the penne was slightly over done, but still good. The clams were cooked perfectly and the sauce was nice. Typical Italian cuisine. It's not too often that you can dine in an Italian restaurant and have a safe gluten free meal. This place was a true gem.

The moment I walked in to the quiet hum I felt relaxed, the dinning room was packed, wait staff moving quickly. I was greeted immediately, and then was seated near the action/kitchen-it was perfect, I could watch everyone enjoying dinner and see the bustle of the kitchen out of the corner of my eye. My server was so joyful and kind-she guessed the wine I wanted. A lovely Alexander Valley Zin by the glass, the wine list was amazing with both local and Italian and unusual offerings. Bread, olive oil and basalmic vinegar with a bite were added to my table and the cucumber in the cold water was perfect. The menu was 2 pages and while I was intrigued by the Osso bucco, different risottos and carbonara-I went with the servers recommendation of crab ravioli with lobster cream sauce-it was light, buttery, sweet like crab and smelled and tasted ever so slightly of the salty ocean. The sauce and pasta were an amazingly delicate texture. Before my tiramisu arrived the owner or manager stopped by to see how my meal was-in such a busy place-a genuine and joyful gesture. Although here for work I would recommend and will come back-everyone was joyfully enjoying a lovely evening out and lovely food. And just relaxing.

What a delectable dinner! After almost 5 years in Healdsburg this was our first visit to Baci and it won't be our last. When our Saturday night plans fell through, we hungrily meandered through town. As we walked by Baci we decided to give it a try, and although busy, they welcomed us and fit us in. We really enjoyed the fresh, flavorful Italian eats and the warm and attentive service - our server is from Rome (gotta love that!) and he was knowledgeable about and helpful with the extensive menu. We started with Acme bread and olive oil and some local wines, and here's what we ordered: *SPERLUNGA - A selection of 3 (or 4) Appetizers for the Table at $ 22 to $ 30 per person - we were eyeing three salads so this was the perfect way to sample them all: 1. Burrata - Fresh Mozzarella stuffed with Cream on Grilled Bread, Sautéed Leeks, Pancetta. Topped with Roasted Tomatoes, Pesto & Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2. Insalata Tri Colore - Wild Baby Arugula, Endive, Radicchio, Shaved Fennel, Commanche Creek Cherry Tomato in a Lemon Balsamic Vinaigrette 3. Insalata di Pesca - Dry Creek Farms Peach, Fresh Burrata, Pistachio, Basil Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Reduction & Balsamic Pearls -this is a summer special using the best local peaches! IYKYK *Bucatini all'Amatriciana - Bucatini Pasta with Pancetta, Onion, Garlic, Tomato Sauce, Chili Pepper & Pecorino Cheese $ 25 -the bright acidity of the tomatoes, the salty pancetta and pecorino, and the slight chili pepper punch! Simple and yet sumptuous! This dish brought me back to summer nights in Italy! *Gnocchi alla Bolognese - Traditional Slow-Cooked Meat Sauce made from American Kobe Beef, Veal & Pork Ribs, tossed with House-made Gnocchi $ 32 -my guy absolutely loved this (although he may have loved my dish more!) We loved everything that we ordered and cleaned our plates; saved no room for dessert. But we'll be back for sure. Baci is old-school Italian in food, service, and setting. If you're looking for Italian comfort food, give them a try. Buon appetito!

Located right off Healdsburg Plaza in a high ceiling barn-like structure, Baci Cafe is a warm and inviting Italian restaurant. Seems to be a local's favorite as the chef visited with guests, with only a few tech bros eating while we were there in March on a rainy Saturday night. We started by splitting a Caesar salad, which honestly was that not that good and quite dry and bland, despite the anchovy flavor. I ordered the short ribs and polenta, which were fall off the bone delicious in a rich sauce with creamy polenta for $39. My husband had the Osso bucco and mushroom rissoto, which he said was delicious but not a large serving and super expensive at $55. The vegetable sides were average with peas, carrots, broccolini. We ended the meal with crème brule cheesecake which was quite delicious, drizzled with caramel sauce. I had indicated it was my birthday on the OpenTable reservation but there was no acknowledgement or free dessert, which was dissapponting. For the two meals and a glass of champagne and sauv blanc plus tip, it was nearly $200. We really liked the food but it was a higher than we like to pay considering it's indoor dining only and not an "experience" restaurant.
